The signature is a fusion massage that blends together various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, acupressure, to your specific needs with the exact pressure desired. Warm towels will be used in your treatments.
A true slow movement serene classic massage, that promotes relaxation, stress relief as well as increasing circulation and a reduction in muscular soreness. You were not meant to carry the world on your shoulders.
This modality is especially tailored to alleviate severe muscular, connective tissue, or fascia tension. Generally, a deep tissue massage is often misinterpreted as massage therapy with significant pressure. However, this approach hones in on the underlying muscles within the body. This form of massage therapy is often categorized separate from others, as it is performed to address certain musculoskeletal disorders. Employing a specialized set of techniques and strokes toward the deeper muscles, fascia, and other structures, a deep tissue massage can help you achieve a higher level of relief and relaxation.
This form of massage therapy is designed to improve muscular flexibility by carefully stretching and contracting the targeted muscles. PNF therapy was initially created as a means of rehabilitating the body and, with that in mind, has shown to be very effective toward enhancing your body’s range of motion. Three forms of PNF: Contract-relax (CR) , the antagonist-contract (AC), & combination of both (CRAC). CR involves contracting, holding, releasing & stretching the target muscle.
It is a manual technique that combines a series of short, controlled stretches with intervals of relaxation, which overrides your muscles tendency to contract when stretched tight.
Unlike the traditional Chinese practice of heat cupping, Therapeutic cupping has shown to have restorative and healing effects on the body by helping to improve circulation and soften the tissues so that a massage therapist can go deeper in their bodywork. Cupping behaves in the opposite of massage (where tissues are compressed and stretched with positive force) by using suction to lift restricted and fused tissue layers with negative forces (suction).
